Kitchen Committee

 There have been some changes over the summer to the Kitchen Committee.  Edith is retiring and Sherry is unavailable for most of the season.  With this in mind we have decided that the Kitchen Committee will only handle the food service needs of the Clif Thompson Senior League mini-spiels and the Simcoe Friday Super Senior men's curling.  All other events will be handled by the new club caterer.  

Thank you very much for your support over the last 17 years that the Kitchen Committee has been operating.  We initially did small events that were not being covered by the club caterer but we gradually grew until almost all of the leagues and bonspiels used our services.  We were very pleased when the Major League, Sleeman's Cash  and Comco Cash spiel allowed us to provide their food services.  Before we knew it we were doing 30-40 events at the club.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who have helped us fulfill these commitments.  Special thanks to Jacquie McDougall and Pamela Robinson who have volunteered to take on the leadership roles of the Kitchen Committee for the 2025-26 season.

We are excited to introduce you to Debi Carson-Newman.  She is very excited to have been given the opportunity to provide service to the Stroud Curling Club.  She has been catering different events such as weddings, anniversaries club meetings and social events.  She has provided food services for breakfasts, lunch, dinner and appetizers for 10-125 people.  She likes to offer home cooked meals at a reasonable price!  Just the way we like it!  To reach Debi you can call 705 796-4404 or email her at Debi_993@hotmail.com
